Banks - Martin’s photographs have appeared at such Alabama galleries as SACS, Stonehenge, the Folmar Art Gallery, the Pike Road Arts Center, and the Elmore Chambers of Commerce. Her work has also appeared in juried shows such as the Regions Bank Show, the Annual Waterfront Show and Competition, and the Columbus Art Guild Members show (GA). In 2019 Georgia won 1st place in the photography category in the Selma Art Guild Summer Show. She also has had a one-person show at the Selma Art Guild Gallery.  

Georgia was born in Lincoln Park, MI; however, lives in Montgomery, AL.  Currently, she is beginning her first year as president of the Montgomery Art Guild; expected term 2 years.

In her photographs, familiar animals, buildings, objects, and plants populate a colorful universe. The artist intends to create a new verse, to create a different story from the oldest materials.
