I have a BA degree in Fine Art from Auburn University. Studying under renown masters like Daniel Greene and John Howard Sanden helped me produce fifteen years of portraits by commission. Workshops with masters like, Roger Dale Brown in 2009, Gil Dilenger in California on the Northern Coast when I turned 50, and recently with Craig Nelson in The Dolomites and Venice, Italy, all, have played a profound roll in plein air painting for me.

Today, after working in the family business for twelve years, I am returning to life as an artist in Auburn, Alabama. My painting repertoire includes Plein Aire, commissions, originals, teaching workshops.

I also enjoy being a member of Oil Painters of America, The American Impressionist Society, Portrait Society of America, and Alabama Plein Artists.
