Having always been enchanted with art, nature, light, and color, I began my actual painting journey about 14 years ago.  While I dabbled in arts and crafts and sketching and such, I had never tried my hand at work on canvas.  I took an evening class through Columbus College to learn the basic materials needed and to select my medium of choice.  I chose Oils originally and have recently added Acrylic Fluid Art to my platform.  I cannot be still and have not settled on one particular medium or style, so I travel from landscapes and realism to abstract and most recently, portraits (both human and animal).  Besides painting, I etch glass and also do metal welding of objects and tables and sculptures. My acrylic pouring has led me to do some things in resin as well.   I most enjoy painting a subject that moves me, that I cannot "not" paint.  Then I wait for that person who cannot "not" have it.  I don't know where my journey will take me, but I will follow.  I have no official training, I just want to turn a head, create a mood, warm a heart, save a memory, cause a response, “Make a Splash". that creates ripples.
